PRIMARY FUNCTION

Project Coordinators are responsible for ensuring that the Company projects they manage are completed on time and on budget exactly as promised at or above the projected gross margin the job was originally estimated at. In addition, “Scope of Work” is completed to the standard of that Company maintains and that all communications necessary to deliver on this goal are executed in a timely and professional manner.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Documentation Management: Accurately track and process RFIs, submittals, RFPs, change orders, and subcontracts for assigned jobs using MB and Co-Construct.
  2. Cost Control: Ensure all job costs are accurately coded to the appropriate project and cost codes.
  3. Scheduling: Update project schedules to reflect current conditions and ensure timely communication with project managers, superintendents, and clients.
  4. Change Management: Assist estimators in pricing changes by accurately scoping and pricing materials, labor, and subcontractor work for change orders.
  5. Material Coordination: Support project managers by tracking and coordinating the timely delivery of necessary materials to job sites.
  6. Progress Tracking: Update percentage of completion and project schedules twice weekly in Co-Construct to maintain accurate records.

  • Project Management, Budgeting, and Scheduling skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of construction processes and materials
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience with construction project management software is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
