PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Truck Driver & Laborer will be responsible for tasks such as loading and unloading materials, site cleanup, assisting tradespeople, and following safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, tools properly set up and stored, and sites secured at the end of the day.
- Construction Assistance: Support carpenters with basic tasks such as demolition and temporary facilities setup.
- Material Management: Return unused materials to vendors and ensure the shop and container are always organized.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks, including oil changes and detailing, on shop vehicles.
- Time Tracking: Accurately record and submit timesheets and tags daily.
- Safety Standards: Maintain 100% adherence to safety protocols on all job sites and report any issues to the Foreman.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of commercial truck driving experience
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
- Must have reliable transportation to job sites.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
- Experience with construction tools and equipment
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality
